Review by:
Learned about the book from a Doterra Blue Diamond's Facebook group. Loved all the info I learned from her class, couldn't wait to buy the book. Was thinking all the information would be included in the book, but it's not, wish it was. I wish the oils that you are suggested to take internally were marked with a star or asterisk next to it or highlighted in each protocol, but it's not even mentioned in the book. I love the list of substitutions, but instead of putting Blend, it would have been more helpful to put the name everyone knows it by, like Massage Blend would instead say Aroma Touch. As I was trying to figure out which oil the blends were it was very overwhelming, for a newbie like me to have to search for names, when already frazzled. In the protocols, I was expecting a huge list of conditions that it would help, but the list was smaller than the list given in the class. I don't want to have to do a whole bunch of research to see if my health condition I am looking for stands for something else. I think the author thought he was making it easier, but it actually made it harder for people that don't know anything about medical terminology. Beware that when you buy this book, great as it is, you will be doing a lot of research to find you medical aliments under each protocol, if you don't understand medical terminology. Also, I think the author should put, even in tiny print, an abbreviated term next to or under the symbol of how to apply. For someone new to this it would make it less frustrating to have to keep flipping back and forth to see what you are supposed to do. I would also like if the pages were laminated, so you could wipe them down; after the first couple of times using it, I have oil prints all over the book. I would be willing to pay more for all the upgrades; including adding the chart that is sold separately, and making it a set, because I didn't know about it until after I received the book and read about the chart I was supposed to refer to. Love the protocols. I am hoping it helps with my many health problems. (Posted on 12/20/2019)
