The following is an excerpt from the chapter "Personal Care Products" from the Reference Guide for Essential Oils by Connie and Alan Higley
Ingredients: Floral Water, Corn Flour, Glycerin Water, Kaolin, Almond Meal, Oat Meal, Zinc Oxide, Vegetable Oils, Lecithin Oil, Magnesium Silicate, and Chlorophylin-Complex. Essential Oils: Calophyllum- mostly for fragrance. Lavender- anti-bacterial; balancing and calming; works wherever there is a need; promotes peace and a general sense of well-being. Melaleuca- strong antiseptic; tissue regenerator. Palmarosa- stimulates new cell growth, regulates oil production, moisturizes and speeds healing. Peppermint- enhances the effect of the other oils; high in menthol, for a wonderful mentholatum-type of sensation. Rosemary- highly anti-infectious; antifungal and antibacterial; good for various skin conditions. Rosewood- antiseptic and antibacterial; tissue regenerative; soothing to the skin and increases elasticity. Spearmint- anti-bacterial and anti-fungal; good for eczema and dry skin.
Directions: Apply warm water to the face to moisten skin. Apply scrub directly to the face and gently massage in a circular motion creating a lather. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat face dry. Mint Facial Scrub may also be mixed with the California Peach Cleanser for milder scrub. Mix 1/2 tsp. of both in palm of hand before applying. Use four or five times weekly depending on need.
